• Completed a full-time, full-stack web development course focused on learning the core languages and best practices – e.g. object-oriented programming, MVC frameworks, data modeling, and test-driven development.

• Developed a portfolio of both individual and collaborative projects. Individual projects include:
  Game on Gluten (GitHub | GH Pages)
  A web app to help those with Celiac Disease learn about the lifestyle, built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  Citizen Driven (GitHub | Heroku)
  A web app for DC citizens to submit community improvement feedback, built with JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Ruby on Rails

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

• Facilitated the outreach and fundraising efforts of the development team, raising over $1.2 million each year.
• Wrote and designed print and digital outreach materials—including annual reports, seasonal newsletters, social media for an audience of over 15,000.
• Managed events hosting 20 to 100 guests, including a full-day workshop focused on private-public collaboration with conservation finance practices.
• Coordinated the organization’s eighteen-member Board of Directors.
